Eigentlich müßte Prävention ja ein attraktiver, dankbarer und angenehmer Teil der ärztlichen Arbeit sein. Denn:

  • — Prävention macht intuitiv Sinn

  • — Prävention hat die rationalen Argumente auf ihrer Seite

  • — Die Nachfrage und das Umfeld für die Prävention scheinen heute so günstig wie noch nie.

It is better to be healthy than ill or dead. That is the beginning and the end of the only real argument for preventive medicine. It is sufficient. Geoffrey Rose 1992 [16]
