Zusammenfassung
Eine gute Rumpffunktion ist für die normale Motorik wichtig. Der Rumpf ist für die Bewegungen der Extremitäten die Basis. Die Rumpfmuskulatur spannt z. B. bei jeder Armbewegung synergistisch an. Der Patient gewinnt die Kontrolle über seine Arme und Beine schneller zurück, wenn er imstande ist, seinen Rumpf effektiv und gezielt zu bewegen und zu stabilisieren.
