Zusammenfassung

Das Stadium einer malignen Erkrankung wird durch die Ausdehnung des Primärtumors sowie eventuell vorhandene Lymphknoten oder Organmetastasen bestimmt. Die in der Primärdiagnostik maligner Magenerkrankungen eingesetzten Methoden der Endoskopie und der röntgenologischen Doppelkontrastuntersuchung erfassen nur den endoluminären Anteil und somit nur einen Teilaspekt des Primärtumors.
