Le fait de la toxicité et de la nocivité de la silice en relation avec sa finesse a déjà été observé et décrit par de nombreux chercheurs. Citons en particulier W. Klosterkötter, 1952 (1), 1953 (2); Dale et King, 1953 (3); Policard et Collet, 1954 (4) ; A. Swensson; J. Glomme, G. Bloom, 1956 (5) ; Policard et Collet, 1957 (6). Tout récemment, nous avons eu à examiner les effets sur l’animal de silices amorphes inframicroscopiques ayant un usage industriel. C’est à cette occasion que nous avons essayé d’apporter une nouvelle contribution à cette question.
