Abstract
This speech will examine the current status of multimedia from the perspective of developers of multimedia applications and titles. During 1993 and 1994, a true market for multimedia emerged for the first time. We now have a real market! However, consumers and business people alike find that the novelty of audio and video coming from their computers wears off fast. The industry now faces a set of challenges to set itself on a realistic path for growth.
