Abstract
In Chapter 4, evidence was reviewed of the correlations between behaviour and theta activity in various species of experimental animal. Most of this data concerned correlations between theta activity and behaviours which were apparently innate rather than acquired. However, amongst the information reviewed was a variety of exceptions, which did not appear to fit into the regular correlations. Many of these exceptions occurred during learning situations.
