  • Thomas Schäl
Part of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science book series (LNCS, volume 1096)

This chapter introduces concepts of co-operative work and how it can be supported by computer systems. These concepts are related to the interdisciplinary research field of Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW). The description of co-operative work and the design of computer support is an open research question in CSCW. This research wants to contribute to the field of CSCW with a taxonomy for cooperative work and deducted support requirements.
