Zusammenfassung

Die Darstellung pathophysiologischer Grundlagen kardialer Arrhythmien für einen klinisch orientierten breiteren Leserkreis ist keine einfache Aufgabe. Insbesondere bei der Komplexität möglicher Arrhythmiemechanismen bei Vorhofflimmern kann die wissenschaftliche Vollständigkeit der Ausführungen leicht in einem umgekehrten Verhältnis zum Interesse der Leserschaft stehen.
