A Statistical Study of Mortality from Cancer of the Stomach in Selected Countries

  • Conference paper

Part of the book series: UICC Monograph Series ((UICC,volume 10))

Abstract

On the basis of the data kindly supplied by the central statistical bureaus of 24 countries, we have computed the age-adjusted death rates for cancer of selected sites every 2 years since 1950 (Segi, 1960, 1962, 1964, 1966). The standard population used for the computation is the total population (including males and females) of the 46 countries around 1950. The latest rates calculated by us are for 1962–63.
