Zusammenfassung
Vorbemerkung. Der im Vergleich zu den vorausgegangenen Kapiteln deutlich umfangreichere Stoff ist folgendermaßen angeordnet: Zuerst wird die sehr ausführlich untersuchte Adsorption von Sauerstoff an Wolfram behandelt (3.1.1), die im wesentlichen wie bei den Edelgasen und dem Wasserstoff gegliedert ist. Daran schließt sich die Diffusion von Sauerstoff in Wolfram (3.1.2), worüber jedoch nur wenige Angaben vorliegen. Das nächste umfangreichere Kapitel (3.1.3) enthält die Oxidation von Wolfram in Sauerstoff und sauerstoffhaltigen Gasgemischen zwischen Raumtemperatur und Temperaturen oberhalb 2100 K. Es ist nach den Temperaturbereichen, in denen die verschiedenen Oxidationsprozesse ablaufen, angeordnet und zum Teil noch entsprechend den unterschiedlichen Sauerstoff-Drücken unterteilt. Den Abschluß bildet eine kurze Übersicht über das Zustandsdiagramm Wolfram-Sauerstoff (3.1.4). Die einzelnen Wolframoxide werden im folgenden Band beschrieben.
