Abstract
Until angiographie evidence to the contrary is forthcoming, every young patient with intracranial bleeding must be presumed to have either a saccular aneurysm or a congenital arteriovenous aneurysm. The earlier the bleeding, the more probable the diagnosis of arteriovenous aneurysm. Although sometimes appearing as a sequel to intracranial bleeding, epilepsy is unusual in saccular aneurysm. Bruit, likewise, is exceptional.
