Zusammenfassung
Corticosteroide werden überwiegend in pharmakologischer Dosierung als steroidale Antiphlogistika und Immunsuppressiva eingesetzt. Fast die Hälfte der Verordnungen entfällt auf das Standardpräparat Prednisolon. Diese Präferenz ist durch pharmakokinetische und preisliche Vorteile gegenüber Prednison und Methylprednisolon gut begründet.
