Abstract

Groundwater is, particular in the developing countries, one of the most important natural drinking water resources. Therefore good knowledge of the complex hydrodynamic mechanism of the groundwater flow is an important basis for the investigation and exploitation of this resource. The aim of this paper is to present two applications of parameter estimation methods and regionalization procedures for the development of boundary conditions as input for regional hydraulic models.
