Zusammenfassung
Die einfachste Form einer Aortenstenose (AS) beruht auf einer Obstruktion im Klappenniveau (80%) durch verwachsene Kommissuren oder dysplastische Semilunarklappen.Wie bei der Pulmonalstenose sind auch hier fibromuskuläre, subvalvuläre (15%) und supravalvuläre (5%) Stenoseformen beschrieben.
Eine Hypoplasie der gesamten Ausflussbahn kann als Extremfall des Krankheitsbildes eine Aortenatresie bedingen.
