Zusammenfassung
Damit Blut seine Aufgaben erfüllen kann, muss es bei adäquater Zusammensetzung seiner Komponenten die nutritiven Kapillaren der Organe den aktuellen Bedürfnissen angepasst durchströmen. Hierfür ist eine uneingeschränkte Herz- und Kreislauffunktion erforderlich, für die wiederum ein ausreichendes Blutvolumen eine unabdingbare Voraussetzung ist. Stark beeinflusst wird die Blutzirkulation in der Endstrombahn von den rheologischen Eigenschaften des Blutes. Deshalb erhält die Zusammensetzung des Blutes besonders bei Krankheitszuständen mit bereits gestörter Mikrozirkulation eine gesteigerte Bedeutung.
