Zusammenfassung

Das Hauptproblem dieser Verletzung in der Klinik liegt in der rechtzeitigen Diagnose. Wenn im folgenden auch ausführlich über Fragen des praktischen Vorgehens und der Operation berichtet wird, so muß doch festgehalten werden, daß viel mehr Patienten an der übersehenen Aortenruptur sterben als an operationstechnischen Schwierigkeiten oder postoperativen Komplikationen.
