Zusammenfassung
Psychotherapie mit Traumaopfern ist ein hochkomplexer und herausfordernder Prozeß. Die Erfahrung lebensbedrohlicher und/oder überwältigender Lebensereignisse hat tiefgreifende Auswirkungen auf fast alle Bereiche der Persönlichkeit der Patienten. Der Aufbau einer tragfähigen therapeutischen Beziehung von den Erstkontakten an, ist vielleicht in noch stärkerem Maße als bei anderen Angststörungen die Grundlage einer erfolgreichen psychotherapeutischen Intervention.
