Zusammenfassung
Als Lipide bezeichnet man eine Klasse organischer Verbindungen, die zwar strukturell ganz verschiedenartig aufgebaut sind, sich jedoch gegenüber anderen Naturstoffen durch die Gemeinsamkeit auszeichnen, daß sie nicht oder nur schwach in Wasser, dagegen gut in organischen Lösungsmitteln wie Äther, Chloroform oder Benzol löslich sind.
