Zusammenfassung
Manche bestehen bis heute auf der feindseligen Abgrenzung althergebrachter Schulen, andere haben auf dem Wege zur Systemischen Therapie die Paar- und Familientherapie als Relikte „falschen Denkens“ aufgegeben. Uns geht es im Folgenden um die Anerkennung der notwendigen Differenzierung mit ihren nützlichen Unterscheidungen und um den Erhalt der verbindenden Grundlagen familienthera-peutischen Denkens und Handelns. Integration, die so verstanden wird, verzichtet nicht auf unterschiedliche Standpunkte und Methoden. Sie führt sie zusammen in einem kreativen und kritischen Prozess der Evolution einer professionellen psychotherapeutischen Identität.
