In wesentlicher Erweiterung der auf das Symptom und die Konflikte gerichteten Psychotherapie vermag die Hypnose in den dynamischen Hintergrund des Unbewußten einzudringen. Der Emotionalstau im Unbewußten — der verdrängte Komplex von S. Freud — ist die dynamische Wurzel vieler psychischer und psychosomatischer Erkrankungen. Hier vermag die ärztliche Hypnose stufenweise und gezielt die zerrissene Emotionalwelt wieder ausgewogen zu machen. Damit werden die Wurzeln der Krankheit und der Störung aufgelöst. Summary

As an important extension of psychotherapy aimed at treating symptoms and conflicts, hypnosis is able to penetrate the dynamic background of the unconscious. The emotional build-up within the unconscious — Freud’s complex of repression — is the dynamic root of many emotional and psychosomatic illnesses. With medical hypnosis, we are able gradually and specifically to even out the disrupted world of emotions. In this way the roots of illnesses and conflicts are resolved. This therapeutic method mirrors the principles of natural healing methods, helping to stabilize the entire person and his healthy defense systems instead of just treating the symptom and/or conflict.
