Zusammenfassung
In der Wohlfahrtstheorie geht man der Präge nach, wie die gesamtwirtschaftliche Situation zu bewerten ist, wie funktionsfähig die Märkte und andere Allokationsmechanismen sind. Dabei steht der Ökonom vor dem Problem, dass die individuellen Nutzen nicht vergleichbar sind und somit ein Maßstab zur Beurteilung der Verteilung von Gütern zu fehlen scheint.
