Wenn man Marktmodelle aufgrund der Anzahl der Anbieter klassifiziert, ergeben sich das Monopol (ein Verkäufer), das Oligopol (mehrere Verkäufer) und das Polypol (sehr viele Verkäufer). Das Monopol war Gegenstand von Kapitel 5, das Oligopol wird in Kapitel 8 behandelt werden, und das Polypol wollen wir jetzt betrachten.
