Zusammenfassung
Die Bezeichnungen „Fette“ und „Öle“ sind der Alltagssprache entnommen. Öle sind bei gewöhnlicher Zimmertemperatur flüssig, Fette hingegen stellen halbfeste Massen dar. Es handelt sich um Produkte pflanzlicher (oder tierischer) Herkunft, die zur Hauptsache aus Glyceriden bestehen, denen geringe Mengen anderer „Lipoide“ wie Sterine, Lecithin, fettlösliche Vitamine oder natürliche Antioxidantien beigemengt sein können.
