Zusammenfassung

Die entzündlichen Muskelerkrankungen bilden eine heterogene Krankheitsgruppe. Neben immunogen bedingten Formen, wie Polymyositis, Dermatomyo-sitis oder Einschlußkörpermyositis, kommen Myo-sitiden auch im Rahmen von Systemerkrankungen oder in Assoziation zu Kollagenosen sowie erregerbedingt vor. Myalgien sind zwar ein häufiges Symptom, jedoch kann eine Vielzahl von entzündlichen Myopathien schmerzlos sein. Die exakte Diagnose ist notwendig, da aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Pathogenese der verschiedenen Myositiden eine differenzierte Therapie erfolgen muß.
