Zusammenfassung

Die Gefäßpunktion bei wachen Kindern wird durch eine lokalanästhesiehaltige Salbe (Kap. 6, S. 134) wesentlich erleichtert. Wenn nicht genügend Zeit zur Verfügung steht, diese Salbe einwirken zu lassen (mindestens 1 h), kann man mit einer dünnen Nadel 0,1–0,2 ml Lidocain 0,5–1 % eine intrakutane Quaddel setzen. Wird das Lidocain vor der Injektion auf Raumtemperatur aufgewärmt, ist es weniger schmerzhaft.
