Es kann kein Zweifel bestehen, daß die Antibiotikaresistenz bei Infektionserregern wenngleich kein neues, so doch ein zunehmendes medizinisches und gesundheitliches Problem von globaler Bedeutung darstellt (Abb. 4.4.1, Tabelle 4.4.1).
