Zusammenfassung

Die Entwicklung der Armanlage beginnt beim menschlichen Embryo am Ende des Stadium 12 (3–5 mm). Es ist zunächst ein knospenähnlicher zur Seite gerichteter Auswuchs der lateralen Körperwand nachweisbar (Abb. 29–1a), der aus Somatopleura und Ektoderm besteht. Da der Embryo appositionell von cranial nach caudal wächst, besteht ein cranio-caudaler Differenzierungsgradient. Demzufolge sind die Entstehung und Entwicklung der Beinanlage im Vergleich mit der Armanlage zeitlich verzögert. Bei Embryonen im Stadium 13 (5,5 mm) beginnt sich die knospenartige Beinanlage abzugrenzen [O’Rahilly und Müller 1987].
