Zusammenfassung
Im folgenden Kapitel soll auf die Grundlagen der menschlichen Fortpflanzung, d. h. auf die Eizellreifung, die Ovulation, mit nachfolgender Eizellaufnahme und die Fertilisierung der Eizelle eingegangen werden. Daran schließt sich die frühe Embryonalphase und die Implantation an. Ferner wird die Spermiogenese, der Ablauf des Spermientransits mit Kapazitation und Akrosomreaktion behandelt. Außerdem erfolgt ein Vergleich des Sexualverhaltens und der Zeugung zwischen Mensch und Tier. Die Abb. 1.1 zeigt eine schematische Darstellung wichtiger Vorgänge vor und während des Befruchtungsvorgangs.
