Zusammenfassung

Die Begriffe Gentransfer und Genübertragung werden heute meist sofort mit Gentherapie in Beziehung gesetzt. Gentherapie ist allerdings nur die letztendliche Entwicklung, welche sich aus dem Wissen der Genetik und v. a. aus den Erkenntnissen der Molekularbiologie durch den Nachvollzug natürlicher Vorgänge im Reagenzglas ergeben hat.
