Zusammenfassung
Die Strahlenoptik beschreibt sehr einfach einige Züge der Lichtausbreitung. Aber sogar der Mechanismus von Reflexion und Brechung wird erst im Wellenbild klar. Allem, was mit Beugung, Polarisation usw. zusammenhängt, steht die Strahlenoptik völlig hilflos gegenüber.
