Abstract

Dermatitis herpetiformis (DH) is a rare disease characterized by a chronic, papulove-sicular eruption; it is intensely pruritic and associated with immunoglobulin A (IgA) deposition in the papillary dermis. It is accompanied by an underlying gluten-sensitive enteropathy.
