Abstract

As the previous chapter has indicated, significant improvements in the quantification of emissions could be made through the improvement of emission factors in various areas. The next focus of the GENEMIS work was on evaluation of emission data, in particular to assess uncertainties of data and methods and to validate and verify emissions. In the following sections, these aspects of the GENEMIS work will be elaborated on in detail.
