Zusammenfassung
Ein Blick in den Wirtschafts- und/oder Börsenteil einer größeren Tageszeitung liefert die unmittelbare Erkenntnis, daß es nicht möglich ist, von dem Zinssatz oder dem Marktzins zu sprechen. Ausgehend von der traditionellen Funktion des Zinses, dem Transfer von Vermögen entlang der Zeitachse, folgt die Abhängigkeit des Zinssatzes von einem spezifischen Zeitintervall. Die FAZ vom 19.01.1999 liefert für den 18.01.1999 die folgenden Geldmarktsätze unter Banken1:
