Zusammenfassung
Wie jede Ingenieur-Wissenschaft benutzt die Informatik die Mathematik, um ihren Modellen und Aussagen Präzision zu verleihen. Anders als bei anderen Ingenieurwissenschaften steht bei der Informatik mehr die diskrete Mathematik und die Logik und weniger die Analysis im Vordergrund (die Analysis ist aber für die Anwendungen eminent wichtig).
