Zusammenfassung

Für den Beweis einer substanzeigenen Kopfschmerzwirkung sind placebokontrollierte Doppelblindstudien erforderlich. Dies konnte deutlich durch 2 Studien demonstriert werden, bei denen Patienten über das Auftreten von Kopfschmerzen nach dem Genuß dunkler Schokolade bzw. eines künstlichen Süßstoffes zu berichten hatten. In beiden Studien war der Kopfschmerz nach Placebo genauso häufig.
