Abstract

The charm of diagnostic nuclear medicine derives from its ability to provide functional information, as a number, graph or image; by assessing the regional accumulation of administered radioactive materials. Although images reflect anatomical constraints, the discipline is complementary to other imaging modalities, which are essentially morphological.
