Abstract

Different inflammatory and degenerative articular disorders are grouped under the heading of metabolic arthropathies. These arthropathies result from a generalized or a local metabolic abnormality. In this review we shall not discuss the articular problems due to diabetes, which are reviewed in Chapter 9.
