Final Objectives of Integrated Electronic Systems

  • Chapter
Nanoelectronics and Nanosystems

Abstract

A book about nanoelectronics should present visions of integrating the information processing machines into nanoelectronics. The main objectives of the effort in the development of integrated electronics are systems for information processing without doubt. From our present view such machines must be as small as possible to gain new information, or to remove uncertainty in our knowledge [70]. These tasks should be fulfilled with as low a power as possible.
