Abstract

Before determining and assessing herbivory rates, it is crucial to first determine the objectives of the planned study (i.e., zoological, botanical or ecological focus) and also the level of ecological integration at which the measurements will be carried out because the parameters to be measured and the methods applied are highly dependent on this decision (Table 18).
