Abstract

It was estimated that malignant tumors of the digestive system would be diagnosed in about 235,700 people in the United States in 2001, with approximately 131,300 related deaths [1]. In this chapter, cancers of the esophagus, stomach, pancreas, biliary tract, rectum, anal region and metastases to the liver will be discussed.
