Annual Signal Modulation to Search for WIMPs and Direct Searching

  • Conference paper
Sources and Detection of Dark Matter and Dark Energy in the Universe

Abstract

Investigating the annual modulation of the energy spectrum provides one of the most convincing evidence for WIMPs signal. The sensitivity for experiments looking for annual modulation of WIMPs signal is discussed.

The recent annual modulation measurement by huge NaI(Tl) scintillators of ELEGANT V and the future prospect at OTO Cosmo observatory is also presented.
