Abstract
The AVM is regarded as:
-
Small if the greatest diameter of the nidus is < 3 cm (radius < 1.5 cm, volume < 14 cm3). (This is already “large” for radiosurgery.)
-
Medium if the greatest diameter of the lesion is between 3–6 cm (radius 1.5–3 cm, volume 15–102 cm3).
-
Large, if the AVM diameter is 6 > cm (>102 cm3).
