Abstract
We have already mentioned at various places in this book the importance of the Internet for forming inter-organizational processes and the creation of new organization and cooperation forms. This chapter investigates the fundamental capabilities that the SAP R/3 System provides to support business processes over the Internet. These can be either business-to-business processes or business-toconsumer processes.
