Bank Privatisation in France and a Case Study of Banque Nationale de Paris



France has at no time been affected by the passing of ad hoc laws to govern the privatisation of the banking sector. The widespread privatisation of financial institutions over the last ten years must thus be considered under a general privatisation policy of the French economy as a whole.
