Abstract
Errors of ballistic gravimeters as associated with different types of instrument models are considered. The model based on the gravimeter’s weighting function is suggested and a simple way of getting the weighting functions is presented. The weighting function models are illustrated by analysis of different effects such as the influence of the number of intervals on the corrections, the dynamic properties of the instrument, and others.
