Zusammenfassung

Der in der Regel resultierende Synergismus beim Einsatz zweier oder mehrerer blutdrucksenkender Pharmaka hat Auswirkungen in zwei Richtungen: Das Phänomen läßt sich in der Therapie bei kombinierter Gabe unterschiedlicher Antihypertensiva nutzen, indem die einzelnen Partner in reduzierter Dosis gegenüber einer Monotherapie und damit auch mit verringerter Toxizität angewendet werden. Andererseits kann die gleichzeitige Gabe mehrerer Antihypertensiva leicht zu unerwünscht starkem Blutdruckabfall führen. Die Kombination von Diazoxid mit stark wirksamen Antihypertensiva, insbesondere Hydralazin, ist hier vor allem zu nennen.
