Zusammenfassung

Chronisches Müdigkeitssyndrom/Fibromyalgiesyndrom (CFS/FMS) sind zwei Symptomenkomplexe mit den Kardinalsymptomen Müdigkeit/Erschöpfung bzw. generalisierter Muskelschmerz. Gleichzeitig sind beide mit einer Vielzahl funktioneller, vegetativer, aber auch psychischer Störungen assoziiert, insbesondere mit einem Colon irritabile, einer Reizblase, Spannungskopfschmerzen, dem Restless-legs-Syndrom und der primären Dysmenorrhö, Beobachtungen, die dafür sprechen, daß beide klinischen Manifestationen möglicherweise eine einheitliche Ursache haben [13, 26, 27, 30, 31].
