Über die technische Entwicklung der Ultraschall-Mammographie gibt Tabelle 6.1 Auskunft. Größere Erfahrungen mit einer ganz neuen Gerätegeneration („Computed-Sonography“) stehen noch aus, wurden von uns allerdings schon angedeutet (Kap. 5.3 „Mikrokalk“).
