Zusammenfassung
Walter Ulbrichts „Niemand hat die Absicht, eine Mauer zu errichten“, die gefälschten Hitler-Tagebücher von Konrad Kujau und die Lüge der Bush-Regierung zu den Massenvernichtungswaffen des Irak eint nicht nur ihr Täuschungscharakter. Sie eint auch die Gemeinsamkeit, dass sie zumindest vorübergehend von vielen, wenn nicht gar der Mehrheit als Wahrheit akzeptiert worden waren, bevor ihr Täuschungscharakter offenbart wurde. Sie sind damit Beispiele dafür, wie strategische Kommunikation mit ihren Wirklichkeitsbeschreibungen auf gesellschaftliche Wahrheitsmodelle zielen. Zwar muss es reine Spekulation bleiben, wie häufig gesellschaftliche Wahrheitsmodelle auf Desinformationen strategischer Kommunikation zurückgehen. Dennoch zeigen diese Beispiele unsere Anfälligkeit für Desinformationen.
