Zusammenfassung
Im Gegensatz zur Komponentenentwicklung zielt die Systementwicklung (engl. Systems Engineering) auf die Analyse und den Entwurf des Systems als Ganzes und nicht auf die Analyse und den Entwurf seiner Komponenten. Als Orientierung soll die folgende Definition für Systems Engineering dienen, die an die Definitionen in [14] und [72] angelehnt ist:
